Every Sunday from 2.00 P.M. you can play badminton at the Fursa Centre. We are proud our number of activities is growing.

First Aid training 3-8-2019

A first aid training was organized in the Fursa Centre. Now all children know how to handle when a person is in need.

1st Fursa Karate Cup 4-5-2019

With 80 participants and 7 clubs, the 1st Fursa Karate Cup was a great success. The karatekas competed against each other with kata and kumite. After all points were counted, the cup went to the Fursa Centre team.

Fursa Internal Tournament 28-4-2019

A karate tournament was held at the Fursa Centre for the children of Fursa. The tournament was sponsored by Noortje and Dimitri because of their marriage. All children therefore received lemonade and sweets.

Kata course 27-4-2019

For nearly 3 hours, the ins and outs of kata Enpi were practised with sensei Johan Doesburg from the Netherlands.

Opening Fursa Centre 27-10-2018

Fursa Centre Kenya opened it's door officially in the presence of lots of visitors, friends and three camera crews. The Fursa kids gave a karate demonstration and Steve and his boys and girls from Mathare showed us how to dance. Certainly a memorable day and the beginning of something new in Kiganjo, Thika.

Tournament Nyeri

The first tournament as Fursa Centre Kenya karateclub! Great results at the Mt Kenya Region tournament for cadets and juniors in Nyeri. Julia Nyambura (kata 2nd place), Joyce Wangui (kumite 1st place), Linet Njoki (kumite 3rd place), Harriet Muthoni (kumite 2nd place), Catherine Wairimu (kumite 4th place), Grace Wanjjiku (kumite 3rd place), Cynthia Mumbai (kumite 1st place, kata 3rd place), Kelvin Zakayo (kumite 1st place) and Edward Wambua (kumite 1st place, kata 2nd place).
